Personal Strength Training
Personal Strength Sessions
Each program begins with a movement assessment and goal-setting to create a plan tailored to you. Training may include free weights, kettlebells, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises, with an emphasis on functional strength, core stability, mobility, and proper technique.
Personal Strength Training Is Ideal For:
General Strength & Fitness: Build strength, improve technique, and gain confidenceβwhether you're new to strength training or already active.
Active Adolescents: Develop safe technique, balanced strength, coordination, and a strong foundation for sports and lifelong fitness.
Midlife & Beyond: Support bone health, balance, posture, strength, and resilience with training adapted to your abilities and goals.
Post-Rehabilitation: Continue building strength and confidence after completing physical therapy.
Training is provided by Susannah Hill, DPT and Certified Personal Trainer, combining physical therapy expertise with individualized strength training.
Personal Strength Training is offered in programs of up to six weeks.
What Are the Benefits of Strength Training?
Strength training offers benefits at every stage of life by building muscle, supporting joint health, boosting energy, and reducing injury risks.
Active adolescents gain balanced muscle development, improved coordination, and a solid foundation for sports and lifelong movement.
In mid-life, strength training helps preserve bone density, prevent muscle loss, improve posture and balance, and reduce chronic health risks.
For postpartum women, it supports safe recovery by rebuilding core and pelvic floor strength, restoring stability, and providing a confident return to exercise and daily activity.
