Personalized Physical Therapy for Whole Body Care

Posture Studio operates as a cash-based physical therapy practice. This allows each session to be fully personalized and focused on your goals β€” without the time restrictions or treatment limitations often required by insurance companies.

We do not bill insurance directly.

Superbills are available for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Initial Evaluation

    Initial Assessment $180

Every client begins with a comprehensive evaluation where we assess your pain through a whole-body lens, developing a movement diagnosis to identify patterns contributing to your symptoms. From there, we create an individualized plan for healing and long-term injury prevention.

  • Follow-Up Sessions

    Follow-Up Sessions $150

Follow-up treatments are sessions scheduled after the initial evaluation. They are designed to continue your plan of care as outlined in your initial evaluation. Our goal is to offer the most effective and efficient path to restore your health and physical performance.

  • Dry Needling

    30 Minute Session: $80

Dry needling sessions may be including in your follow-up treatment but you may book 30 minutes dry needling sessions separately.

Must have completed an initial evaluation before booking dry needling.

About Cash Based Physical Therapy

Can I use my insurance?

Cash-based physical therapy means that we are out of network with all insurance companies and do not directly bill through insurance (though you may be eligible for reimbursement directly from your insurance company). Our patients pay us directly each visit for their 1-on-1, personalized physical therapy session. This allows us to focus all of our attention on the patient and perform treatments to focus on patient goals without being dictated by insurance rules and regulations.

Do you offer Superbills for Reimbursements

Upon your request, we can give you a Superbill. The process is easy. Pay upfront and request a Superbill to submit to your private insurance company for reimbursement. Please note that we cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance.

If you have private insurance, please contact your insurance company to ask about your out-of-network benefits and learn of any requirements you need before starting physical therapy.

Please note that Medicare does not allow for reimbursement of physical therapy services.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can pay at the time of each session using cash or credit card.

You can also use your health savings account (HSA) or flex spending account (FSA).

Why cash based physical therapy?

Insurance companies have a say in how clinicians treat patients. They often place restrictions on treatment length, visit frequency, and the types of care that are covered. As reimbursements to clinics continue to decrease, many physical therapy practices are required to increase patient volume, overlap appointments, or rely on assistants and technicians during treatment sessions. This can limit the amount of one-on-one time patients spend with their physical therapist.

At Posture Studio, our cash-based model allows us to work outside of many of those limitations so we can provide more individualized, attentive care focused on the whole person rather than simply treating symptoms.

Benefits include:

  • Autonomy: Physical therapists can work closely with clients to develop and follow through on a plan of care in order to best meet the needs of the patient.

  • Quality of Care: Spending more time with the physical therapist improves individualized care and outcomes and allows us to provide the highest quality of care for our patients. You will be seen and heard. Your physical therapist will have time to offer hands-on modalities that are beneficial for healing and to teach you how to do any exercises with attention to form and function.

  • Individualized sessions: Our patients are seen one-on-one by the same Doctor of Physical Therapy, which allows you to receive high-level skilled care that is evidence-based, functional, and tailored to you and your goals.

  • No Restrictions: Insurance plans have limitations on the number of sessions offered and the types of treatments allowed. They also have many requirements for authorization.

  • Whole Body Care: Insurance is focused on reimbursing for what is on the actual script or plan of care. This means it is harder for the physical therapist to treat the whole person as they are forced to focus on the immediate points of pain.

  • Direct Access to Care: Direct line of communication between the physical therapist and the patient about options for care.
