Pilates Reformer Class

Pilates Equipment and Mat Classes

Pilates classes are an incredible way to strengthen your body while improving movement patterns and calming the nervous system. The classes at Posture focus on the individuals in the class - we believe in small group training in order to offer more personalized attention.

Classes include Pilates equipment, Pilates mat and Yoga Rope Wall. Each class is tailored towards the clients and always taught with care, so no two classes are ever the same. Classes range from beginner to advanced levels.

Physical Therapy Sessions

Whether you are in recovery, chronic pain management, or looking for injury prevention, our approach to physical therapy is to treat every person as a whole person, not a body part or a diagnosis.

Assessments are comprehensive, focusing on where you are feeling your pain while also looking at your whole body and how it works to create movement patterns that may be contributing to your pain. Treatments are designed to help you regain mobility, restore function and live a pain-free lifestyle. Our goal is for you to not need physical therapy as soon as possible.

In order to offer the highest quality of care with a holistic approach to healing, we are a self-pay insurance model. Our physical therapists are DPTs (Doctors of Physical Therapy).

What People Are Saying

Private Pilates Sessions: “Posture Studio gave me a deep sense of belonging which is remarkable given my long history of dropping numerous gym memberships. I feel truly inspired by the instructors’ commitment to our well-being and their deep understanding of the body-in-movement. Every instructor I worked with - be it in a full class or a private - made it possible for me to improve in ways I had not anticipated.”

— Katya, Professor

Private Posture + Pilates Sessions: “I am so fortunate that my physical therapist referred me to Carla at Posture Studio. Pilates has improved my strength and flexibility, plus the staff and environment are top notch. My only regret is that I didn’t start years ago.”

— Diane B, Retired Educator

Physical Therapy: I sought out Tara 11 years ago because of her work with the US Ski Team. As an athlete, I wanted someone who understood the importance of getting someone back to training and in my case, back on the snow. Tara’s ability to design a plan, set goals and help her clients implement both with her and at home made it possible for all of us to get back to doing the sports and activities we loved. Our son had major brain surgery and with the help of Tara was able to run a 5k less than 3 months afterwards.

— Sarah Everett

Advanced Classes: “These classes are so good. It makes me feel great afterwards and it shows me how to pay attention to both sides of my body and how to identify which part of my body needs more strength and/or flexibility. I can see the results every week. I feel more flexible and stronger in so many different parts of my body..”

— Berto, Professional Musician

Group Classes: “My practice at Posture has helped connect my brain to my body in a totally new way. I’m building a new level of awareness that I haven’t found through any other modality, including years of individualized physical therapy.”

— Ann Y, Nurse

Private Pilates + Classes: “Finding Posture Studio has changed my life.
Carla and all of the instructors have a deep understanding of movement, and an amazing eye for spotting weaknesses and developing strength. Their passion is genuine and their enthusiasm contagious. Through Pilates, all of my exercise practices have improved, as I now understand my body’s inclinations to ‘cheat’ by using strong muscles to save the weaker muscles from doing the work, and I also understand how to better support my body muscularly to prevent injury. It is not an exaggeration to say that finding Posture Studio has changed my life.”
